Without volunteers we would not be able to achieve the very high standards of programs that Caladenia has become known for over the years. Caladenia provides orientation, training and social events for our volunteers. Volunteers can help in several ways.... |
Program Volunteers Program Volunteers commit to helping out in our program either once a week or once a fortnight. Volunteers are briefed in the morning by the program staff and team up with the staff to enable our members to have the best day possible. Duties include chatting to clients, encouraging clients to become involved in the Program and joining the group for morning tea and lunch. The day for Program Volunteers runs from 9:45 to approx. 3:45. Bus Jockey Bus Jockeys accompany the driver on our mini bus both in the morning and the afternoon bus runs to collect and return members from and to their homes. Our Bus Jockeys assist our members on and off the the bus, as well as to and from their houses, helping out with seatbelts, steps and keys and making the bus journey as anxiety-free as possible. Board of Management Caladenia Dementia Care is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors. If you are interested in more information about our Board, please contact the Chairperson on 9727 2222 or by email to caladenia@caladenia.com.au |
